Great place for some southern California mexican food. The portions are generous and reasonably priced, make sure to bring cash!

Salsa bar is great, almost ice cold! Ice cream for dessert!

Really delicious meal at a great price with fast, efficient service. Plentiful seating inside and out. Be aware that it is cash only but they do have an ATM nearby. The only thing that would make it better would be credit card acceptance. The shrimp burrito that I got was very large and if you're not too hungry, enough to share for 2 people. Love the salsa bar with pickled veggies. Salsas all had great flavor and it was well worth a trip here in this small town especially if you're craving a great Mexican meal.

Ana Borrego is a great desert camping place for everyone to enjoy.Grab some Mexican food on the way to your camping spot and another on your way home.Must try: I buy their quart of green sauce on the way home to add to my home tacos.Derek Wolf 🌺

Their "shredded beef rolled tacos" should be renamed "rolled corn tortillas." Beans tasted like they came from a can with water added to them. Rice lacked any flavor. Taco Bell food tastes better.

Borrego Springs does not have a whole lot of dining options if you're looking for something quick to eat this is a nice place to stop by. The food is pretty good and it is relatively inexpensive. It is conveniently located just off Christmas Circle.

Best taco shop within 50 miles without question. Cash only so be prepared

The food was really good and the people were nice. They were only accepting cash though so I had to run to the ATM next door to pay for our food. It was a little inconvient

Great price Mexican food. With a salsa bar and unlimited pickled carrots and jalapeno. If you are in town and looking for budget food, this is your best option there. And not to mention the portion is big :)

Two weeks ago we had great carne asada plates, tonight it tasted like boiled meat. The chicken enchilada was good and the rolled tacos are good but I don't know what happened to the carne asada.

Great basic Mexican food menu, plus it's a classic part of Borrego.

Its was bomb, the hole fam loved it!! Got the two carne asada Tacos plate, the two enchiladas plate, two fish taco plate and the two beef tacos plate. No complaints

It's your typical SoCal Mexican fast food place but better than most. I ordered a carne asada burrito and it was HUGE. Very tasty. Loved the authentic style flour tortilla. Service was good, very friendly and helpful. Prices are probably a little higher than you would expect but it's a little tourist town so it's not unexpected and the prices aren't ridiculously high.

I've been coming out here for a long time. I've seen the same people working there. And they take pride in their food. Huevos rancheros is my favorite or breakfast burritos. Breakfast is served all day long! Food delivery is fast and you can sit inside the restaurant or in front in the patio.😎

I had a superb experience in this spot. We loved the superb vibes and the food. The staff members are super affable. I am glad we ultimately managed to visit this spot.

I asked if I could have the ham and cheese omelet without rice and beans but french fries instead and SHE said NO so I said ok and changed my order. I was eating on a table next to the register and a lady ask for the same thing no rice no beans but french fries instead, she had no problem getting it. They won't see me at that place ever again!

One of the best taco shops around hands down.

The shredded beef taco plate was heavenly. Highly recommend this place for a bite to eat if you're heading out to the Borrego Springs desert or coming back from a great weekend of camping. Good prices, good homemade food, fast and easy!

This is a good place to get a quick bite, it is clean and the staff was friendly. The rice was moist and the beans tasted fresh. Menudo tasted very similar to a popular canned brand and cam with all the fixings.

Always nice, friendly and quick. The food is good 'mexican" food with a great amount of choices. Inside and outside seating. Always a nice stop, when in the desert.

I got my fill-bertos, at Los Jilbertos! Hot grilled carne asada wrapped in pan seared tortilla was on point! They're open 10-11pm while others in the area close 8-9. Would rate a 5 star if they accepted credit/debit cards.

Believe me. I stop at a lot of these taco shops while traveling. This particular one is one of the best yet. The tacos were on point! Sooo good as well the rice, beans, and salsa! And very clean and relaxing. Stop in and see for yourself.

Average food, disappointing presentation of eat-in food. Flimsy utensils make it impossible to safely eat a wet burrito. Eat in food served in Styrofoam container.

Breakfast- eggs and bacon, so dry. Refried beans got to be canned. The worst coffee ever tasted, undrinkable (get a Keurig!). Giant tortilla was good.
